Warehouse operations · Worker safety · Site security

One auditable record for every scan, camera and gate.

SYS Senju connects QR and NFC warehouse execution, AI CCTV safety detection and burglary alerts in a single system. Each event records who, what, where and when, with its evidence, severity and the follow-up it needs.

The pilot workspace runs in your browser with sample data. Nothing leaves the device.

The platform

Three connected modules, one alert and task engine.

QR/NFC warehouse operations

Goods receipt, put-away, picking, cycle counts, transfers, dispatch, and tool and key handover, all from a scan.

  • Stock calculated from an append-only ledger
  • Bin capacity and category checks
  • Photo and signature evidence on exceptions
  • Overdue tool and key alerts

AI CCTV worker safety

Existing RTSP and ONVIF cameras become safety sensors through on-site edge inference.

  • Hi-vis and helmet rules per zone and schedule
  • Forklift–pedestrian proximity
  • Restricted-zone entry and smoke or fire
  • Corrective actions with closure evidence

Burglary & intrusion detection

After-hours, perimeter and gate events are checked against badge scans, work orders and dispatches.

  • Uncorrelated presence escalates as critical
  • Forced-entry and held-open gate alerts
  • Camera tampering and signal loss
  • Siren and strobe relays on site

The core principle

Nothing happens off the record.

A scan, an NFC tap, a CCTV detection, a gate event or a stock movement all produce the same evidence-grade record, so managers, HSE and insurers investigate one trail.

  1. WhoWorker, role and device, or the camera and edge node
  2. WhatWorkflow, detection rule and linked order
  3. WhereTag, bin, zone or camera polygon
  4. WhenOriginal capture time, even when synced later
  5. EvidencePhotos, signatures, snapshots and clips
  6. SeverityCritical, high, medium or low, with routing
  7. Follow-upA task with an owner, due time and closure proof

Built for the ground

Made for hot, dusty sites, gloved hands and patchy connectivity.

Works offline

Scans, photos and signatures are saved on the device and sync automatically, exactly once, when the connection returns.

Shared rugged devices

Workers sign in with a staff badge and PIN, or unlock with the device's fingerprint or face check.

Gloves and glare

Large touch targets, a dark mode and a high-contrast mode, plus support for PDA scanner keys, camera QR and NFC.

Video stays on site

Edge devices analyse streams locally. Only event metadata, snapshots and selected clips leave the site.

No-code configuration

Administrators draw camera zones, tune rules and extend workflow forms without code changes.

Evidence-grade reports

Operations, HSE, security and audit reports, filtered by date, zone, user and severity, in Excel, CSV and PDF.

How it works

From tags on the racks to alerts on the phone.

  1. 1

    Tag and connect

Print QR sheets and encode NFC tags for bays, bins, tools and keys. Register cameras and draw their zones.

  2. 2

    Scan and detect

Workers scan to start the right workflow. Edge AI evaluates every frame against your configured rules.

  3. 3

    Act and prove

Alerts route by severity to WhatsApp, SMS, email or a siren. Tasks close with notes and evidence.

Security & privacy

Accountable by design, respectful by default.

  • Every company's data is isolated, and every sensitive action is written to an audit trail.
  • Role-based access, rotating sign-in tokens and short-lived signed links for evidence.
  • No facial recognition, no productivity scoring and no automatic discipline.
  • Per-company retention, plus data export and deletion tools for each worker.

Questions

What site teams ask first.

Do we need new cameras?

Usually not. SYS Senju reads existing RTSP and ONVIF streams through an on-site edge node. During commissioning we check each camera's angle, resolution and lighting against the rules you want to run.

What happens when the network drops?

Workers keep scanning. Every receipt, pick, count and handover is saved on the device with its original time and photos, then synced exactly once when the connection returns. Edge nodes queue detections the same way.

Which devices do workers use?

Any modern Android or iOS phone, a tablet, or a rugged PDA with a built-in scanner. The app installs from the browser, works with gloves and supports NFC tags, QR labels and scanner keys.

Does it recognise faces or score workers?

No. Detections describe what happened, such as a missing helmet or a person in a closed zone, never who it was. There is no productivity scoring and no automatic discipline.

Where is our data kept?

Video stays on site. Event records, snapshots and selected clips are stored in your company's isolated workspace with encrypted storage, role-based access and a full audit trail. Retention is set per company.

How long does a rollout take?

A first site typically starts with tagging one warehouse and connecting a handful of cameras, then expands zone by zone. SYS Systems handles tagging, edge installation, rule tuning and training on site.
